Preparing the next banana feeding

Magnesium deficiency had become a concern in the bananas. We planned calcium, magnesium, sulphur and boron for the next nutrition work.
The next step was to source calcium nitrate and magnesium sulphate, with boron bought separately. Calcium nitrate and magnesium sulphate were to be kept apart, with one in each of two side holes.
A further round of potash, urea and DAP was being considered for 3–4 November, after clearing roughly 2 ft around the plants.

The calcium, magnesium and sulphur application was put back by a week so we could oversee it. A potash, urea and DAP round was planned to begin the next day.
